This notice explains how information submitted through the FECA Navigator Flowchart request form is handled. The service provides educational resources and is not an official U.S. Department of Labor or OWCP service.
Information collected
When you request the free FECA Navigator Flowchart, we collect your email address and record the date of your request. The website uses this information to process your request, maintain a request record, and help prevent duplicate records.
For requests submitted through the Flowchart request form, the website also generates and stores a SHA-256 hash of the request IP address for security, abuse prevention, and service administration. The original IP address is not stored in this database field.
How information is used
Your email address is used to send the Flowchart download link you requested. Submitting either the homepage or Flowchart request form does not enroll you in promotional or educational email updates. Requesting the Flowchart does not constitute consent to receive marketing messages.
Service providers and storage
The service uses Cloudflare for website hosting and database storage and Resend to send the requested email. These providers process information as needed to operate the service and deliver your request.
Security
Reasonable technical safeguards are intended to protect stored information, but no online system can guarantee absolute security. Please submit only the email address needed to receive the Flowchart. Do not submit claim numbers, Social Security numbers, medical records, financial account details, or other sensitive personal or case information.
Retention
Reassured LLC intends to retain email addresses and related request records submitted through the FECA Navigator homepage and Flowchart forms for no longer than 12 months after submission, unless a longer period is required for legitimate legal or operational reasons. An automated deletion process is being prepared to enforce this retention period. Until that process is activated in production, you may contact us to request deletion of your information, subject to applicable requirements.
